Canyon Country – USA Ride
This is a perfect 'short' trip with reasonable short daily rides and includes a fully guided tour of Canyon Country.
Around 20 riders/drivers will travel on standard Harley-Davidson motorbikes and Ford Mustang Convertibles. On departing Las Vegas, the world's capital of madness, you will experience 5 of the most beautiful National parks in the world;
- Canyonlands, Bryce, Moab, Arches, Dead Horse Point and of course Grand Canyon NP
As you can imagine there are many stops along the way for kodak moments, to cool down and to investigate the trails, the small towns and all that the National Parks have to offer.
This trip suits both single riders and couples as the roads are GREAT RIDES but there are anough stops to make sure that the pillions are comfortable.
Each night we stay in comfortable accommodation, taking time to chat about the events of the day, have a drink and a well deserved meal in some of the many excellent restaurants on our route.The tour is set to commence on 18 August 2011 from Las Vegas.

Day 1: Las vegas [Nevada] (Arrival)
The Pirates of Treasure Island, the Knight of Excalibur, the Pyramid of Luxor, the Eiffel Tower, the erupting volcano of the Mirage…

Day 2: Las Vegas - Kingman [Arizona] - 202km | 126ml
Let us not stop with Las Vegas! The road awaits us and a glorious road at that.
We begin this great trip on mythical Route 66. We discover Oatman, with its donkeys in the streets and its sinuous roads which brings us in top of the cliffs overhanging Kingman.
Day 3: Kingman - Tusayan [Arizona] - 296km | 184ml
Seligman and Williams: Route66 in its purest form!
Then, towards Grand Canyon, this wonder of nature is 443 km long, 16 km wide and 2,000m deep.. make sure your cameras are fully charged.
Day 4: Tusayan - Kayenta [Arizona] - 265km | 165ml
Here the place where the Gods chose to excert their talents as artists.
Towers of 300 meters in height are lined up in front of us. Impressive!
It is the largest territory of the Navajos Indians in the United States.
Day 5: Kayenta - Moab [Utah] - 315km | 195ml
Carved by water and the wind for millions of years, more than 2000 arches line themselves up in front of us, thus defying any concept of gravity.
We cross the valley of the Gods to get us to Moab, favorite city of the "Outlaws" of Far West, the likes of Butch Cassidy…
Day 6: Moab
This day gives yo uplenty of time to see Canyonlands NP, Dead Horse Point and some of the finest riding this area has to offer.
Day 7: Moab - Bryce Canyon [Utah] - 490km | 305ml
Route 24 is classified among the most beautiful scenic roads of the United States.
Riding this, we discover Utah in all its glory.
We ride through both Capitol Reef and Escalante National Parks.
Day 8: Bryce Canyon - Las Vegas [Nevada] - 438km | 272ml
We visit Bryce Canyon, by the colours and dimensions alone, one of the most impressive National Parks in USA.
We ride through Zion National Park and return to Luxor, The Sphinx, The Eifel Tower and the bright lights of Las Vegas
