The Telethon Adventurers

On September 1st a Charity auction dinner was held at Sandrino restaurant in Fremantle. Over 120 people attended the dinner, and a great night was had by all. Owner Jelena Kaddour spoke to her suppliers who donated food and items to be raffled, and all money raised was donated back to the Telethon Adventurers.

The staff of Sandrino Restaurant donated their time and Laidee Babooshka entertained the guests during the evening. Darren and Troy from Port City Real Estate also donated their time and auctioned the items that were donated.

A huge thankyou must go to Jelena and Sam Kaddour, and Eddie and Rose Kubal for their wonderful effort in making the event such a success. A total of $29,200 was raised for the Telethon Adventurers in support of the ‘Jump to find a cure event’ and was a fantastic result.

In supporting an event like this and donating all proceeds back to The Adventurers, we should also remember that Sandrino donated their earnings as they would not have made any money during this day as they closed the restaurant to the public.
