The Telethon Adventurers

Telethon Weekend was a celebration of 9 months hard work and effort from the Telethon Adventurers and our supportres.

We had four cheque presentations over the 2 days:

• The Tour for a Cure, Ride USA and The Climb for Childhood Cancer, Mt Kilimanjaro $195,151
• The Jump for Childhhod Cancer and The Long Way Across Ride Against Childhood Cancer $166,025
• The Climb for Elliot, Mont Blanc France $149,586
• TheWoolworths Fresh Food Kids Ride for Elliot $501,000

FOR AN AMAZING TOTAL $1,011,762

Thank you for all our supporters who enabled us to raise this amazing amount to October 2011. This is even more fantastic when you consider, due to partnering with Telethon, that we only had 9 months of fundraising. The positive side of this is that Telethon matched our first $500,000 raised.

This means that the Telethon Adventurers can distribute $1,500,000 to our chosen beneficiaries the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children and the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research.
