Jens was born in Germany and migrated with his parents to South Africa as a one year old kid. In 2007 he made the big move to Perth with his family and now run’s his own business. He has always been a very sporting person and cycling has been a passion for many years, having competed competively for a couple of years. Now a couple of years older (and hopefully wiser) he is no longer able to keep up with the youngsters and cycles to keep fit.

Why did he become an adventurer?

Having been asked to join the Woolworths Ride for Elliot is perfect opportunity to combine my passion of cycling and helping people. We have two kids, aged 5 and 8 years and my mother has overcome cancer, so this is a very worthy cause for those affected by cancer. In the past I have helped underprivileged people in Africa, as well as helpless animals in African Game parks. This ride is an opportunity for me to do charity work closer to home.
