Reason For Becoming an Adventurer: Unlike many of the Adventurers I have never been personally effected by cancer, I am however completely passionate about the cause. I truly believe "life is a gift" and needs to be lived as well as possible, I thoroughly enjoy all outdoor activities as I was heavily involved with the Scouting movement for most of my youth. I have spent some time travelling and enjoy the challenges High altitude Trekking and mountaineering provide. If I can live my life that little bit better for all the children effected by this horrible disease, and raise financial support for them along the way, I would have achieved my goals.
No matter what challenges we choose to face, nothing compares to the daily struggle these children are forced with.
Adventure: The Climb for Childhood Cancer, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, 1st - 12th October 2011
