I'm so pleased to offer my support to the Telethon Adventurers and I wish them all the best in their endeavours.

Losing a child to cancer is unfathomable for most, but sadly a reality for just too many families. Funding for research into a cure for childhood cancer is a cause that is worthy of attention from all of us.

As a parent, I'm very aware of the need to protect the future of our children; to pave the way to good health for them and for future generations. This can only be done through costly research and an unwavering commitment from groups like the Telethon Adventurers.

They are inspiring people, dedicated to their cause. I encourage you to get behind them and support their mission.

When I heard about the Telethon Adventurers, I was so moved. Moved by the very sad stories of children lost, and by the dedication of each Adventurer to do all that they can to contribute to much needed research into childhood cancer.

We can all only hope that one day a cure will be found, but hope alone unfortunately doesn't pay for the research. It's people like the Telethon Adventurers that enable these important studies into the cause to continue.

It's an honour to offer my support and I wish each Adventurer a safe and successful time away.

Please give your support too. Even just a little can make a change in a child's life.
